Report: Bulls to fire Del Negro

Not exactly a bombshell, but the list of potential replacements is intriguing, including the potential return of Phil Jackson.

No way Phil takes that job. I'd see him with the Knicks (which I've heard, though I'm sure is unfounded) before he is back there.

If Pat Riley decides to crap Spoelstra like he did Van Gundy, I think Spoelstra would be a perfect fit. I think the guy's pretty underrated, and Riley is doing him a serious disservice.

 

No chance Phil is going back to Chicago or going to NY. He's staying in LA or retiring. That's it.

Does Riley really think the Heat are ready to contend for a title? Why else would he jump back in unless he thinks he can pad his resume with another championship

 

Man, ain't that always the case? The man always keepin' Del Negro down.


BTW, isn't Phil still knocking boots with Princess Buss? Would make a move to another NBA pitstop a little tougher.

 

As much as I would love to see it happen, Phil isn't coming back to Chicago. Spoelstra would be a nice choice though. How much does Wade like him ?

 

Phil and LeBron are a package deal to NYK. I predict neither will happen.
