IJAG just threw a chair and BYH just burst out laughing, and neither know why.

Is "a person with knowledge of decision" AP's way of saying what ESPN does when it mentions "so and so has learned."

Earlier today, one of ESPN's football voices said that Mangini was talking to Jets assistant coaches into following him to Cleveland.

How do you feel about Crennel as DC? It may happen now.

I don't know how likely that would be. Would you take a demotion and stay when you got shit canned?

I know the NFL's a different animal, but I'd be somewhat surprised if Crennel stayed as defensive coordinator.

Didn't Crennel say when he was fired that he'd be open to staying on in some capacity. Seeing as how he and Mangini both worked in NE together, it's possible.

Mangini and Crennel are both Belichickians, but it's hard to imagine Crennel sticking around where he just got bounced.

Reportedly, Crennel was talking about staying in the organization after he got fired depending on who the coach was. Plus, he and Mangini are supposedly real close, so it could work.
