Report: Bin Laden plotted to kill Obama, Patraeus

This says bin Laden was trying to figure out a way to kill President Obama by shooting down his aircraft, thus leaving a "totally unprepared" Joe Biden as president. He also wanted to take out Petraeus as a way to alter the course of the Afghanistan war. According to the story, intelligence suggests there's no way this would've ever happened, but the documents were taken from bin Laden's compound and have now been declassified:

Shows how stupid bin Laden was. Obama is even more "totally unprepared" than Biden.

Not trying to make light of the worst tragedy of my lifetime, but it seemed that bin Laden had a fixation with using planes in his plots. Weird.

 

Thankfully, we now have a president who had the guts to make the right call and take that asshole out.

If Osama didn't plot to kill those guys, he wouldn't be a very good terrorist.

 

Was thinking the same thing. Finding out that the world's most notorious terrorist was out to kill the President of the United States is hardly a surprise. It's not like finding out that Paul Newman was on Nixon's enemies list.

 

On the other hand, Nixon may have secretly had a wish for death by ranch dressing enema.
