If you're going to say stuff like that, go ahead and give some names. Because, as someone said earlier, all it does is lead to all sorts of guessing and speculation. If you're not giving names, why even bother to mention it?

You are correct. Boom made a boo-boo. Phillips had been gone for over a decade. He had moved on to the Saints by 1981.

 

The mistake here is treating Mark like a functioning human, especially on this topic.

The story says it was known among the players, so maybe the thread title is a bit misleading.

 

you can be 'out' to friends, family and co-workers without holding a press conference and being 'out' to the entire world.
