King of Kong was a masterpiece and as Jones said, you couldn't make up Billy Mitchell.

'King of Kong' was wonderful. Really, really well done.
I haven't seen the Maher movie.

  3. If you have Netflix, you can watch King of Kong instantly.

HC really wants to see the Maher flick. Maybe over our Thanksgiving weekend.

  5. Sounds like my kind of movie, but I don't think I can get past Maher.

Same here. When it makes it to DVD, I might rent it, but otherewise I won't spend that much money on Maher.

Even though I agree with him on a lot of things, he is indeed a windbag.

I do apologize for my earlier snark, I was in a pissy mood at the time.

Good to hear all the praise. I have "King of Kong" from Netflix right now, sitting next to my TV.

    Fairy tales, according to you.

My problem with Maher's movie (I did see it) is that he shot fish in a barrel. He picked the absolute worst loonies and implied they were the mainstream. And he only picked on Christianity and Judaism. He was quite the gutless coward when it came to confronting Muslims who are on the extreme.
