AP and ESPN reporting a 6-year deal.

Now, who's taking Reggie first in their Fantasy draft?

Someone whose league I'd like to join.

You take some combo of LT and Larry Johnson at the top.

I won't touch Bush in the first four rounds of my draft.

I was referring to the commerical featuring Reggie Bush on ESPN.

Reggie wouldn't even take Reggie in the first round.

Bush agrees to 6-year deal with Saints
    By BRETT MARTEL
    AP Sports Writer
JACKSON, Miss. (AP) -- Reggie Bush agreed to a six-year deal with the New Orleans Saints on Saturday night and the Heisman Trophy winner will report to training camp Sunday, The Associated Press has learned.
A source with direct knowledge of the negotiations said they deal had been agreed to, but that he couldn't disclose financial terms.
Reached by phone at his home in New York, Bush's agent, Joel Segal, said he wouldn't comment until a deal had been signed. However, he said he was traveling to Jackson on Sunday to meet with Bush and the Saints.

I don't believe for a minute Reggie was prepared to miss anything more than the first week of camp. One side or the other was going to cave. By the sound of things, they met in the middle.

Reggie (and Ormstein) had worked hard to cultivate good will in NOLA — for example, donating a percentage of his jersey sales to Katrina relief and saying the right things.

And if Benson was going to be too tight to spring for another mil or two over 6 years, never mind the effigy ... Benson would be swinging from a lamppost on Poydras Street by Week 2.

Chuck, nobody's released terms yet, but I'm guessing Bush's contract will be very similar to Mario Williams' deal, which is $26.5M guaranteed over 6 years.
