Yahoo owns this story but it acting like it is a NFL story by having Robinson and Cole working it. Good work but the NFL or its fans don't give a shit.

    Pancomo -- ??

As for the story, well, hey, Reggie, before they meet with the NCAA and your Heisman Trophy goes bye-bye, why don't you talk to them, get it in writing that this is the end of it, and write a fucking check?

Couple questions that popped in my head reading this:

    1) If USC is stripped of its 04 wins, does that mean that Oklahoma officially becomes the 04 national champion despite losing that game by what seemed like 100-0?

    2) Could USC be in any NCAA trouble for this under the institutional-control provisons? Your star tailback's given new cars and $300,000 you're bound to notice something--at least enough to ask a few questions, which apparently never happened.

  7. I'll give you that one. That was good.

The '04 championship will be vacated. No champion. Just like when the QB trips over the center and falls down. No tackle. How many overall wins will this strip from USC?

    1) what POO said, simply because the NCAA does not have a national championship to strip it of.
2)Maybe not lack of institutional control, but damn skippy there's some loss of money, scholarships and maybe no bowl appearance for a season or two

If they didn't strip Orenthal for slaughtering two people, they won't strip Bush for pocketing 300 large.

OJ's situation had nothing to do with anything that happened when he was playing at USC. Bush's family got money, cars, use of house, etc., specifically because he was a star collegiate athlete. If USC can be stripped of its national title -- which isn't awarded by the NCAA, by the way -- then Bush can be stripped of his Heisman. And he should be.

Also, we're not talking about law enforcement here. These agents probably aren't required by law to talk to NCAA officials, and if they're not, Reggie (Reginald?) should settle. Yesterday.
