Union doesn't give a crap. NFL redistributed money to 28 teams, everyone other than New Orleans and Oakland. Players ae getting the money.

Not as much as they could get from teams with more than 1.6 mill to spend.

Haven't had a chance to read all nine pages, but anyone think that the Colts will rethink the No. 1 pick, realize Luck faced lousy defenses, most Pac-1012 QBs bomb in the NFL, and will draft RG3, leaving Luck for 'Skins?

    No.

  7. Compared to defenses Baylor faced?

    No.

  8. For the record, B12 QB's haven't exactly lit the world on fire.

Most Pac-12 QBs bomb in the NFL? You mean like Aaron Rodgers and Carson Palmer? Even guys like the Huard brothers and Matt Cassel and Derek Anderson and Kellen Clemens, who weren't even that great in college, have found some success, as has a guy like Matt Moore who was an afterthought. And then there's Sanchez, who takes a lot of grief and deservedly so because of his regression but who had a fairly solid start to his career before this season.

If you want to mock anyone on my list, that's fine, but note that anyone I've mentioned has had a better career than Vince Young or Josh Freeman, who are the best NFL quarterbacks to come out of the Big 12 since the turn of the century.

I don't understand what this has to do with anything.

  11. Just responding to the assertion that the Colts might pass on Luck for RG3 because Pac12 QBs haven't had much success in the NFL.

If the Skins split the penalty evenly, they lose $18 mil this year, which still leaves them with, what, around $20 mil? Restructure some contracts, maybe $25-30 mil. Just seems like it's going to be a pain in the ass to do all that on short notice.

    Still a raw deal, though.
