    Job Description
    CBS Radio seeks a highly motivated, experienced sports reporter to join our team as Beat Reporter.



    RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary duties will involve daily coverage of Washington, D.C.'s NFL team, although coverage of other teams may be assigned during the NFL offseason. Qualified candidates must possess a track record of cultivating sources and relationships in order to break news, news judgment, and excellent news writing and verbal skills. The Beat Reporter will contribute both on the air and in written contributions on our website. Candidate must be a team player who is comfortable collaborating across platforms and stations. Some audio recording and editing experience is preferable.
    Required Qualifications
    Break news and cover breaking news about Washington's football team

    Contribute on air and written information and analysis

    Report and write original, interesting, engaging stories

    Record locker room audio and send it back to the studio

    Travel as required
    Work as a team player across all CBS DC platforms and radio stations

    Social media knowledge and engagement is a must

    2-4 years of experience
