That's what WGN Radio just reported during the postgame show for the Cubs-Dodgers game.

So at what point this season does Don Cherry do the 7th inning stretch at Wrigley?

A.J. Pierzynski says that it's a good place to drop the gloves.

Interesting.. Wrigley and not Soldier Field, thereby having a lot of bad seats down low

There will be a lot of close seats to the ice if they just put the sheet down one of the baselines and put up bleachers on the other side.

If the Cubs win the World Series this year, they can move the game to Hell.

EDIT: A.J. also says it's a good place to hit a game-winning homer in the 9th, then watch the classy Cubs fans litter the filed with (more) garbage. :)

Chicago SportsNite is reporting it now too.

Has there been any more chatter about an outdoor game at Yankee Stadium? It would seem kind of weird if there were two outdoor games the same year.

That died down, partly because of construction of the new stadium and winter-type weather.

I think I read something about there being "winterization issues" with Yankee Stadium.

That winter-type weather would really screw up a hockey game.
