    Description
    The Red Deer Advocate requires an experienced Editor to lay out sports pages and fulfill some other duties related to both the sports and general news.

    The successful candidate will be required to work five evenings a week, Wednesday through Saturday. This position offers and excellent salary and benefit package.

    Qualifications
    Candidates must be able to lay out news pages in a MacIntosh/QuarkXpress environment and to regularly write sports copy.

    I've never really gotten a satisfactory answer to this question -- I'd definitely be interested in infiltrating Canuckistan :D -- but I'm pretty sure there's a lot of legal hoops to jump through.

    Of course, you could just marry a hoser and it gets a lot easier. That's what my friend did. He's living near one of Flash's old haunts now.

    This might be one of those gigs where you really get a leg up by proofing the ad for them and bringing it to the interview.
