It's pretty easy to get all kinds of news on professional or collegiate sports. But athletic accomplishments and feats by regular athletes who participate solely for the love of sports are overlooked. We’re looking for somebody to post 3-5 times per week. Compensation can be based on traffic or per post but I'll be honest and tell you it will be minimal until we can devote more budget to the project. This is experimental at first but there are certainly opportunities to grow the role or help Sportsvite build out its content strategy. This job can be done remotely.

Please send links to your current blog, sports articles or writing samples to brian (at) sportsvite.com

Compensation will be minimal because we have minimal income.

    Tough crowd.

Bloggers can work remotely so if you're interested let me know.
Sportsvite does not yet have a blogger position budgeted but does have plans to bring on an editorial/cotent director in Q4. I would like to use the blog as a way to "experiment" on different types of content and see what resonates with readers.

    Thanks,
    Brian

What could be better than blogging about the Jimbo Fisher -- a local Mooselodge hero, who once hit for the cycle in one church leage softball game and helped his aunt linda give berth in the stands all in the seventh inning?

This is why we don't write about "regular people." It gets, how should i say, awkwaaaaaaaaaard...

But hey, I guess you could do it for the "minimal pay."

You mean I would not have to pay you? Would I still get free clips?
