Reasons No. 999 and 1,000 why XM rules

  1. Bob's "Baseball" themed show was terrific, but his "Divorce" one had far better music.

Great stuff. Somehow every week I clicked on had a Rick Springfield song lurking somewhere in the 20s.

One week had a Michael Bolton remake AND a Tiffany remake. And people wonder why pop music fizzled out ...

Another great thing ... you come across one of these old gems and save it. Then in a few weeks, it'll pop up on another XM station, and it's like a really cool surprise.

Hey, does Rick Dees still exist?

On which XM channel(s) might I find the Top 40 replays?

I'm pretty sure Rick Dees still has a countdown. One of the stations around here plays it early, early on a Sunday.

One semester in college, I had one, absolute cake class on Monday morning, then nothing else the rest of the day.

Sunday evening, the Rick Dees countdown was on until 3 a.m. Caught it nearly every week.

I can't admire your taste, but I will give a nod to your dedication.

    I believe it's on 80s on 8, tonight at 10 ET.

Rick Dees will always be the guy who had the late-night show in which Vanilla Ice dropped trou and showed his "stab wound."
