    Brian Ross and ABC News don't see what the problem is.

    Agreed. It's a fantastic resource when you use it as a starting point to find other, credible sources.

    Some Wiki articles have hundreds of footnotes. Those can save you hours and hours of background research, and are easily verified.

    To use anything written there as factual information? Horrible decision for anyone whose credibility depends on accuracy.
