It's the only place I can find the boxed rock candy.

(Yes, I buy a product made of sheer sugar. Or should I say another product made of sheer sugar)

Strangely enough, this Cracker Barrel share a shopping center with a Jewish deli.

    Fucking awesome.

And I'm with J_D. Anyone who loves Pappadeaux is good with me.

Assuming that was meant for me, thank you. I can eat well in any major American city. Free for lunch this week?

I'll have lox with biscuits and a side of sawmill gravy. Coffee, no cream. Thanks.

Never been to Pappadeaux, but I've stopped in Breaux Bridge several times on my way to Houston and had lunch at Mulate's, and Looziana food just don't get much better than that.

I think I ate at one of those in Houston airport once. Food was just OK, but you probably don't get the best presentation at the airport version of a place.

CB is a vacation staple for us. Tradition is that after breakfast, I go out and plant myself in a rocker on the porch while the wife browses inside. Yes, we're goobers.

Memo to IHOP: Biscuits taste good. You might want to try, you know, having them on the menu.
