I bought one last year for my annual Festivus party on Dec. 23. It was a big, big hit. I made posters like the one Kramer's holding above, and we met at my parents' downstairs bar to air our grievances and and tell every body all the ways we let each other down.

That party must have lasted through New Year's then.

And I didn't even get a chance to talk. I'm going first this year. I'm hoping they keep the focus off me for once.

Didn't we have the real vs. artificial debate one night in a bar somewhere? ;)

Works better as an understood subtext than as fun with the quote function.

I'd love to have a real tree, but since trees really don't grow in my area, they are really expensive. So, I'll stick with the fake tree.

Not sure where you live, Mizzou, but $100 is just crazy talk. Around here (northeast) decent trees go about $25 with the nicest ones going $45 to $50. $100? That's just lunacy.

They cost at least $50 here for crappy ones. Nice ones definitely cost $100.

Prefer the real ones, but in these parts they dry out and lose all their needles in about 3 days, so it's fake for us.

Put an aspirin in the water every couple of days.
