    I've always had a BIG problem with the TV people who use pseudonyms. Let's see... you're there to report the news, and you start by giving your viewers a fake name.

    Credibility? Uh... no.

    I don't have a problem with it if the given name might work against their credibility. I remember a rather fetching anchor in California who changed her name because her real last name was Supple.

    Yep, real name Storen, daughter of Mike Storen, who was commissioner and GM of a few teams in the ABA. As someone, who loved Terry Pluto's "Loose Balls," I was really surprised about 10 years back when I first found out they were related.

    We had a classmate named Lipschitz. First day of school, teacher is taking role, stumbles over his name.
    "Lip-shiiits??, Lip-??? ..."
    The kid calls out, "It's SHITS."

    Stone Cold Steve Austin changed his name to differentiate himself from Steve "Dr. Death" Williams (RIP). Williams' finishing move was the Oklahoma Stampede.
