    i'm wondering why you'd want to try real estate in these crappy times. seems like the worst time to get in the biz.

    I hope you did not make your decision on how the sets "looked" in the store.

    Retailers screw with the settings on their floor TVs to attract attention in the showroom. It's much brighter and more colorful than anything you would actually want to live with on a day-to-day basis. Those in the know call it "torch mode" because if you keep your TV on those settings it will burn out in a few months.

    Bet the people at the store didn't tell you that. ;)

    It's an exciting business. Real estate is always on the move. Look at Egypt. They moved to Iraq.
