So I guess this guy's source was ... um... uh... wrong!

Didn't see the game, but he would have a slightly better chance of staying if he managed a victory and ended the tough year on a positive note.

He's definitely gone, which isn't exactly a good thing for the future of NFL coaching. To have one season to prove yourself is ridiculous, especially with a franchise like the Dolphins who have not made serious noise since Marino was suiting up.

Secondly, Ray Lewis threw him under the bus earlier in the season, publicly questioning the ineffectiveness of the offense. I call bullshit in that the second half was all his fault. If his dumb-ass defensive coordinator had not called that timeout, and his players acting out like someone took their mommy away, they would have won the game. But, hindsight is 20/20...

Billick lost this team about 12 weeks ago, and Baltimore fans should be pissed that they let him and the Ravens play out the string that long.

The word around B-more seems to be that Steve Bisciotti took a straw poll among the players and one of the questions asked was, did Billick lose control of the team? The general answer was yes.

Brian Billick will have plenty of time to read Rick Pitino's book on his hammock.

Somewhere in California, Trent Dilfer is chuckling.

Consider that many players would say he hadn't lost control of the team when he really had, and you KNOW that was the case.

The WWL just said that Jason Garrett is on top of the short list.

shottie, Bisciotti also asked the equipment managers and the waterboys for their "no confidence" votes as well.

It's clear that the arrogant Genius was trumped by Ray-Ray and his boys.

I can see someone like Billick charming the pants off Arthur Blank.
