Fantasy football definition of a sleeper: A player that has the potential to do more than he ever has in the past and is thus called a sleeper by about 38 different magazine rags. As a result, said player goes about three rounds before he should because everyone wants to show how smart they were by snagging this year's "sleeper." Said player then proceeds to shit the bed and the guy who picked Joey Galloway wins the league.

Chef, look for Waly Lundy (RB, Texans) on the waiver wire. Of course, with 16 teams the only RBs left are probably Greg Jones and Marshall Faulk. Face it, you're Faulked.

Heh, I picked up Greg Jones last week (had him on my team last year and he filled in nicely for a week) and dropped him yesterday.

    What's it to ya? ;)

Let's see... I picked 8th and took Steve Smith, took Chad Johnson on the way back.

Risky taking 2 WR early, but I'm satisfied with my 4 RBs. Ended up with McNabb at QB.

    And you??

Who are your RBs? Just curious.

$200 auction keeper league. The Davis pickup is absolutely killing me. I held the draft on Sunday afternoon, read about his status on Monday. Swearing was involved.

The league allows you to use a variety of formations. I am going to be switching between QB-RB-3WR-TE; QB-2RB-2WR-TE; and QB-4WR this season.

Pope, I'll ask you the same thing I asked everyone else who has picked up Domanick Davis: Are you on crack?

I can't tell you how many times Davis screwed me the last two years with a game-time scratch. He's awful. I wouldn't touch him with Chef's dick.

    ;D You're funny, BYH.

Corey Dillon, Frank Gore, Kevan Barlow, and T.J. Duckett

3 featured backs and a goal line specialist. I'm a big fan of featured backs - can't stand RB situations like Chicago and Denver. I am a little worried about Maroney in NE.

Doc you got Curtis Martin in the fourth round? When did your draft take place, two years ago?
  11. Chi City 81

No, late-July, early-August, before the extent of his injury was known. And, IIRC, running backs were getting picked up left and right, and I needed one. I regret taking him, but I'm glad I got Lundy on the waiver wire.

Fair enough. Better than the guy that took him in the 3rd round in my draft, last week.
Any reason you had your draft so early?
