Are you interested in being the lead beat reporter around the biggest story in the NFL?

The Las Vegas Review-Journal seeks a team-oriented beat reporter to cover the Oakland/Las Vegas Raiders and join the growing group of journalists who'll tell the story of the team’s move to Southern Nevada.

The ideal candidate knows digital journalism and has at least three years of experience covering an NFL team as a lead reporter for a major metro news organization or national website or publication. Excellent social media, writing, on-camera and podcasting skills are required. A track record of compelling enterprise and being first on big stories is a must.

This journalist will work in tandem with two Raiders backup reporters, our league writer, columnists and our Raiders videographers. We expect this person to be collaborative in creating stories in all forms and be a polished presence on video and on podcasts.

Please email your resume with links to stories, videos and audio and references tobbradley@reviewjournal.com.

No phone calls please. Do not apply unless you have at least three years of experience covering the NFL for a metro news organization. No bloggers or aggregators.

The Review-Journal is an equal opportunity employer and a drug-free workplace. Employment is contingent on passing a background check and a drug screening.

That is a different position. Don was hired for overall NFL coverage. This is specifically the main beat reporter for the Raiders. They hired the No. 2 for this spot recently also

We have white smoke: Vinny Bonsignore of The Athletic was hired for the position.

    Thanks to all that applied.

Wasn't at The Athletic very long after an extended run with the L.A. Daily News and the SoCal conglomerate. He broke the story on the Chargers moving to England, despite them having a 20-year lease on the new stadium on Inglewood. o_O

Yikes... doesn't sound like quality to me when you break a story that's obviously wrong.
