Radio Row at the Super Bowl: The worst week in sports talk radio

On the Francesa / Mad Dog front- Francesa decided to be above it all and not set up on radio row. Mad Dog is on radio row and getting lots of good guests.

Francesa is ending up with a lot of no shows and is left to talk on the phone with Dennis from Queens. He is besides himself and barking at his producers.

Dog is suppose to get Springsteen in the next few days.

 

That may have Francesa jumping into the bay.

 

Dog might have Springsteen within the hour. Probably like one of those Stone Poney rumors but he is going to carry live the Springsteen NFL presser.

Mike - Was Ferentz there when you played?

Wes - I went to Texas Tech

Mike - Oh I thought you went to Iowa

Wes - No you must be thinking of Tim Dwight

Mike - You were not at Tech with Leach - who was was there?

Wes - I actually came in with Leach.

 

I'm shocked that the all-knowing Francesca would make a mistake.

It's called research, Mikey. Look into it.

 

This needs to preserved as the perfect example of sports talk radio at its highest level.

 

I'm sure by now Fatcesa has berated some production assistant lackey for not giving him a bio of Wes Welker.

 

Yeah, it's the PA's fault that Mike is far too arrogant to pick up the Patriots media guide.

 

He stopped when he got to the Mons Venus parking lot.

 

Should that occur, New Orleans should be warned, ASAP.
