Racist neanderthals threaten BSU Johnson's wedding

    Hope this isn't a D-B.

    While this is an awful thing to have to worry about before your wedding, what got me was that Johnson is from San Dimas!. I wonder if Bill & Ted are invited?

    With all due respect to one of our distinguished Mods, Idaho has been a magnet for white-supremacist nutballs for a while now. No surprise this slime has oozed up, given the circumstances and high public profile of the case.

    Not so much in that part of the state. The heavy racist activity was about 400 miles north of there and the Aryan Nations were bankrupted and chased out of the state about seven years ago. Still, we have our share of backwater idiots who would take the occasion of a high-profile mixed-race wedding to pop their heads out of their caves.

    BSU's Ian Johnson, the man who scored the winning points against Oklahoma and followed that up by proposing to his girlfriend (see, Jersey girls ARE the best) on the field on TV, has said he's had to hire SECURITY for his wedding after receiving multiple threats b/c he's black and wifey-to-be is white.
