R.I.P. Tupac Amaru Shakur

Discussion in 'Anything goes' started by Still a Bulls fan, Sep 13, 2006.

  1. Ten years ago today. I can't believe it's been ten years, man how time goes by. It's mind boggling how there really haven't been that many leads in this case. Much like the John Bonet case. R.I.P Pac. The brother died WAY too soon. I will start a similar thread on March 9 (for my Hip Hop heads, you know what that day means).

    Now THAT'S comedy!!

The dude's not dead. He's off in Aruba sipping cocktails with Jim Morrison in between recording his latest "unreleased" album.

I figured he was hanging with Elvis, making commemorative dinner plates.

  7. I use to think the same thing. The seven day theory and all that. How if you mix the letters up in MAKAVELI it spells out I AM ALIVE and all that bullshit. Plus the three or four albums he's put out since his death. And how he could come back after seven years and not be charged with faking his death. But lets face it, the dude is dead. And it's a fucking shame.

I think he's married to Janis Joplin.

If the next Tupac record includes that Mercedes Benz song, then we'll know for sure.

The Rhyme on XM65 is doing a "Remembering Tupac" week.

I'm pissed because I haven't heard "Same Song" by Digital Underground yet.

What are your favorite all-time Pac songs?

I put mine onto a new CD I'll be burning when I wake up in the morning. (Yes, I included some of the "new" ones because I enjoy them, even though I hate Eminem's production and they ruined most of the tracks on the album. And I didn't include any Digital Underground tracks.)

In no particular order, here's my CD:

    1. To Live & Die In L.A.
    2. Until the End of Time
    3. Thug Love (with BTNH)
    4. Changes
    5. Thugz Mansion
    6. The Uppercut
    7. 2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted
    8. I Ain't Mad At Cha
    9. Ghetto Gospel
    10. California Love
    11. How Do U Want It
    12. So Many Tears
    13. Dear Mama
    14. All About U
    15. My Block
    16. Keep Ya Head Up
    17. Hail Mary
    18. Runnin' (Dying To Live)

Or, maybe a song some rapper should write:

"Don't start nothin', won't be nothin'"
