He'll always be Barney Hefner to me.

I hope, when I die, that my obituary doesn't refer to me as "jowly".

You may never have heard the name, but you've definitely seen him on TV at one time or another.

He was a semi-regular on Andy Griffith in a variety of different roles. Played an Army recruiter when Ernest T. Bass tried to join up, Guy who wanted to punch out Barney because he got a ticket from him. Wanted to punch out Howard Sprague because he stole his girlfriend Millie. (Yes, I know way too much about this shit.)

Twogloves -- it is impossible to know too much about the Andy Griffith Show.
The phrase "fun girls from Mt. Pilot" still makes me laugh.

He was great in Andy Griffith.. if I'm not mistaken, he wanted to punch out Barney in several episodes.
