    The people at the pizza place I go to speak Italian. I kinda like it.

    Damn right. If you want to hire bilingual employees, that is fine. But to discriminate against customers who speak English isn't any different than discriminating against customers who speak Spanish or something else. What if a company held a promotion only open to white people, or females? Wouldn't that be the same thing?

    And, yes, in America, you should be expected to speak the official language --- English.

    English was established as the official language back around the time the Constitution was passed. IIRC, it came within one vote of German being the official language.

    The United States does not have an official language. Check your pocket Constitution.
