Quick writing question.

When it comes to percent, do you write out the word or do you use the %?

write out percent.

 

AP style specifies writing out the word percent.

 

Not to pile on, but write it out is the correct answer.

 

And there's no space in the word.

My first paper made it two words for the first few years I worked there. But yes, it's percent.
