OK, I know what I was up against.

But I came home from the saloon, and Hoosiers is on. Great, right?

    It's on TV Land.

No Olllie dribbling the ball off his foot.

    No, well, several games....

No measuring the height of the hoop at Butler.

No David took a rock and flung it and slew Goliath!

Like I said, I knew what I was up against.

But I say, without hesitation about this rendition: Fuck!

    That is all...

    Would that be self-gratification?

    That's incredibly unfair...

    Justified, but unfair...

By the way, Zeke, not to beat an apparently dead horse, but yeah, I agree....some of the best scenes, gone....like a Mary Tyler Moore episode with Hydraribs on each end.

As Norman Dale would say "Never pass up the open shot."
And as Jimmy CHitwood said "I'll make it."

    Tonight, it was "I'll..."

and the ball was on the way, but we never found out what happened.

I don't understand why TV Land is showing movies, or why a Russian(?) man and woman are hosting the movie...

Hello and welcome to the site on the Web for Friday Movie Show Night on TV Land. We are Torbin and Dagmar, and the hosting is our pleasure for you! Now, every Friday night of the week, TV Land brings all the best movies and all the biggest stars! And not only them either! Because the experience of watching a movie is great, but still better is the watching of a movie along with a especially themed classic TV show. And that's Friday Movie Show Night -- first the watching of the giant movie, and then the watching of the famous show that you are loving. Right here on TV LAND!

Update: OK, apparently it's a parody of this:
