  1. Do any of you have any examples of a good sports enterprise story?

  4. That's all I needed there Good Doctor. Didn't need sarcastic answers or any of that bullshit, just a direction to be pointed to

To be fair, if you don't need sarcastic answers or other assorted bullshit, why'd you post on SportsJournalists.com?

  6. hahaha good point there mighty

  7. I've always found the best way to find enterprise stories is to look at what is big nationally and then make it local.
Bonds chasing Hank/Benoit kills his family. Both have at least rumored steroid implications.
How much of a problem are steriods in your area? Do any of the local kids use them? Have they seen other people? Do they think it's a problem? Would they consider using them? How do they feel about Bonds, et. al.? Do they think it's justified?
Stories last week about young recruits (like sixth grade). How does that apply to your area? Are the young kids being recruited? Does a sixth grader even know what he wants in college? Can the high school/college kids give them any advice?
Those are the kinds of things I would do.

stupid questions usually have answers that lead you in the direction you don't want to be pointed to

Coupla good answers here, but let's take further discussion to Writers' Workshop.

And it's annoying to have a thread here called "Question"....remember, please be specific in titles.
