    Why does your wife only have one year at her current place? What caused her to move from her last teaching position?

    What do you currently do or did you just finish college? Who watches your kid now? I'm sure you talked about your career plans with your wife. What's her view on your aspirations in the business?

    With your answers to my post and to others' questions, I believe common sense says take the $30K job. Seems you think you'll enjoy it.

    Of course, folks in the journalism business are generally pretty good at defying common sense. After all, we are in this business and not PR.
