Question about a wireless router

IJAG, you can't just set your router out and expect it to give you an internet connection! It has to be connected to an internet source so it can send out a signal to your computer.

Most hotels have wireless or hard-wired high-speed internet access. Inquire at the front desk, k?

    What the hell?

I will plug it into the wired high-speed that the hotel has, and hope that both myself and my boyfriend will be able to get online.

Nowhere did I say that I would just set it on the couch and hope.
