Just found it funny that a place I'm familiar with made someone's list. Not a bad place, just weird seeing it posted.

This surprises me little, save for the Louisiana and Arkansas places... My wife and I were always talking about moving to the Maryland, Virginia, Delaware area when we finally leave Calif.

    1. Las Vegas
    2. Baltimore
    3. Honolulu (nice place to visit, wouldn't want to live there)
    4. Los Angeles (as if I don't live/work near there already...)
    5. Little Rock, Ark. (uhhhh, no)
    6. Las Cruces
    7. San Diego (see Honolulu)
    8. Orange County (where I went to school)
    9. Henderson, Nev. (decent place)
    10. Washington DC
    11. Frederick, Md.
    12. Charleston, WV (????)
    13. Long Beach (not in this lifetime)
    14. Oakland
    15. Boston
    16. Portland, Ore (now, they're on to something)
    17. Gaithersburg, Md.
    18. Alexandria, Louisiana (uhhh, OK)
    19. Sacramento
    20. San Francisco (if I could only afford it)
    21. Providence, RI
    22. New Haven, Ct.
    23. Hartford
    24. Monroe, La (?????)

Some of these cities keep popping up on a lot of lists. Wonder if they're getting a little under the table for an extra mention?

I'm going to go back and try it only with small cities and see what it suggests.

I bow to the greatest of three towns I have indeed visited, but only so I could practice getting the hell out as quickly as possible.

Avoid the rush. Start hydrating now. The Wiregrass is the hottest place in the known universe.

I interviewed for a job there about nine years ago, then I went back two summers ago on a trip and it didn't look like the same place with all the new commercial development. At least, the area around the interstate didn't. all the bar and grill chain restaurants (Applebee's etc) are there now, plus the mid-scale shopping (Barnes and Noble, Linens N Things, etc). I'm sure in town things aren't much different, but you wouldn't have to leave town now to shop, as I'm guessing you might have before.
