I actually kinda like the changes and might get that game.

I mean, if Monopoly can make 70 million different versions of the game to accommodate pro sports teams, colleges, NASCAR, states, etc., why not this version?

So what are you supposed to put in the middle of the board for people to collect when they land on Free Parking?

The circular board is the only change I can live with, even though the corners are key in old Monopoly. Monopoly money made Monopoly and the musical pieces seem a distraction.

And in Germany, a Big Mac is a Big Mäc.

    This.

And this. Always make up your own rules. My siblings and I were always in full Monty Hall mode, making side deals on everything. And the free-parking pot always started at $100 and could go through the roof.

couldnt you just add the free parking money on the debit card when someone lands on it? i doubt the game is so advanced it electronically tracks why someone puts money on a card

Cheap bastid. We put a 500 in there and all fines went there, not into the bank. Free Parking just a rest space my ass.

Yup, you hit that with a big jackpot and you could wipe everyone out in a few moves.

Technically it's not in the rules but who cares?

    Oh good heavens no.

Also, isn't a board game the antithesis of 21st century anything?
