I hate these wack-job conspiracy theorists.

    Oh wait ...

Yeah, this sounds just like something a wack-job conspiracy theorist would come up. Good job POO-tin.

ANYTHING is good news for John McCain.

    It's the law.

I accept this version of the story over what Putin or the news agencies are reporting ...

Did you not see the shift in the polls beginning right around then? It sure as hell didn't hurt him.

I think it was Obama instead of McCain. And I think Russia attacked the wrong Georgia.

Which makes the fact that someone here called them our military equal even more absurd.

It's good to know there's more than one country dripping with nuclear weapons whose leader is delusional. Balances things out.

This situation sounds a lot like book I finished reading yesterday, "The Whole Truth" by Baldacci. A disgraced journalist saved the day in the book, though. I guess Mariotti could give it a whirl.

Nyet, Mr. Putin. Stop blaming your empire-building on us.

Patton may have had a point.

How can Georgia invade its own territory?

I guess they're our equal in amount of nuke damage they can do.

And they do have a history of being willing to take enormous amounts of war casualties (which partly explains the sweet 8:7 female:male ratio).
