Pulp Fiction on Encore Action right now

Can't say enough how much I love that scene.

Bruce Willis has made some real duds--most notably "The Return of Bruno"--but I'll always forgive the guy because of Moonlighting and his Pulp Fiction cameo. He was the best thing about a classic movie.

Has anyone ever come up with a decent theory re: the band aid on Marcellus' neck?

    Tarantino loves him some Madonna.

It's like he was TRYING to fuck the movie up.

Tarantino, in that scene, making the key point as to why Michael Vick is serving any time at all.

I had always heard his soul was what was in the briefcase, and the band-aid was where it was removed.

    Beyond that? I gots nothing.

    I've never seen Pulp Fiction.

I hang my head in shame.

You should do more than that in shame.

I know. Odd coming from the girl who has never seen Animal House or Fast Times. But neither of those appeal to me. This movie is RIGHT DOWN HOCKEYBEAT'S ALLEY.

    Goddamn, dude.

So what are the kangaroo references, and does one of those include the "Flowers on the Wall" scene where Butch sings along with the "Smokin' cigarettes and watchin' Captain KANGgaroo" line before smacking into Marcellus?

Most common theory is that Marcellus sold his soul and was trying to buy it back. They say that when the devil takes your soul, he takes it from the back of your neck (I don't know why they say this). The briefcase combination when Vincent opens it up in Brad's apartment is 666.
