Turns out The Smoking Man is as sleazy as he looks:

Geraldo had something last night about Cain paying off some women who accused him of sexual harassment in the 1990s.

It's all part of a vast left wing conspiracy to discredit Herman Cain.

    100%.

It would be funny -- and maybe make a good movie script -- if it was Herman who leaked the sexual harassment claims as a way to torpedo his own campaign.

I know it's not what happened, but it's still funny to imagine.

The fact that Mitt Romney has not run away with nomination shows what a putz he is. Cain seems like a likable guy and that is why he has gotten a toe hold.

I don't know... You might be right. But in a race where Bachmann, Perry and Cain have all spent short periods of time as the favorite, not to mention those who didn't run who have had their names listed in the polls, it's kind of impressive that Romney's percentage is almost identical to what it was at the beginning.

Kinda, but Romney's just staying above the fray and letting the wingnuts blow their wads on each other. So to speak. After all the cuckoo-birds take turns as the flavor of the week, he will still appear to be the "adult in the room." And of course given a month or two, he will take a position in favor of virtually anything any voter group who ever might consider him might want.

Cain a "likeable guy?" WTF? Every clip I have ever seen of him, he is ranting/raging about something or other. That's basically his whole schtick.

But the guy has been running forever. If people were excited they would not be looking elsewhere. Look at the excitement generated on the possibility that Christie was going to run.
