Puchtel comes out, wants to play in NFL

I read on deadspin today that former Gopher hoops player (for one year) Zach Puchtel "came out" as being bi (edit from original post, i took that out and forgot to put it in). I remember this guy because he played football (and rugby too, I think) at Harvard and went to Minnesota for one year to play hoops. It was an interesting story then, and now this could be the guy to break through as an openly gay athlete. His writing is pretty good too, Paul Shirley-esque.
