    Publications & New Media Coordinator - Anaheim Ducks (Anaheim, CA)


    GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: The Publications & New Media Coordinator will assist in all aspects pertaining to the internet and all publications associated with the Anaheim Ducks, Honda Center and Anaheim ICE.
    AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
    Write and edit content for Anaheim Ducks and Honda Center publications, including but not limited to: Ducks Digest, Ducks Team Yearbook, Game Time, Ducks Annual Report, Premium Update, Part-Time Employee Newsletter, etc.
    Write, edit and update all of the content posted on the websites, including news, features, game stories and previews, audio and video. Websites include but are not limited to: AnaheimDucks.com, HondaCenter.com, TheClubHondaCenter.com and WoodenClassic.com
    Assist in editing all content that appears in publications, as well as any printed materials produced by other departments
    Field all website update requests and scheduled updates
    Daily update of the Media Roundup
    Pitch story ideas for publications and/or the websites
    Develop a familiarity with the Content Management Systems (CMS) used to manage team and arena websites, as well as any html code required to update pages
    Maintain constant awareness of breaking Ducks news and maintain ability to update the website when necessary.
    Collect and file team and arena photography, including disseminating to fellow staff, media and other outlets
    Assist other departments with editing, writing, etc., as requested
    POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
    College degree in related field
    Minimum 1-2 years experience in sports, media and/or internet field
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as website management skills
    Must be self-directed, detail-oriented and have the ability to organize and schedule work effectively in order to meet deadlines.
    Ability to multitask and re-prioritize assignments appropriately, while maintaining an ability to juggle numerous projects simultaneously
    Capacity to successfully interact with all levels of personnel from senior executives to entry-level employees
    Excellent time management and planning skills
    Availability to work flexible hours, including events and games during the evenings and weekends as needed, as well as time away from the office
    Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with persons on all levels, in person, in written communication and on the telephone
    Local Southern California candidates only. Relocation will not be provided.
