God, somebody had to say it. I sit in a room with ESPN on all day long, and every time I look up and see Mel Kiper Jr., I tempted to heave it out the window.

Boobie, if the PTI guys EVER talked about the AFL before ESPN owned it, you'd have a case.

But they didn't, not that I ever remember.

And yes, getting mocked on ESPN is better for a sport than not being mentioned.

The show's got nothing on Around the Horn -- best show on ESPN.

Seriously, if this is the worst ESPN has to worry about, the WWL is just fine. It gives the station more right to say it is not an entertainment-first network.

ESPN needs its own to mock it some, even when its minor and basically meaningless. Gives the network more credibility.

ATH is great but I'd still rather watch PTI.

P.S. Should Tony Reali replace Mike Tirico on MNF?

Tony Reali should replace a lot of people on a lot of shows. Star on the rise. Sharp as a whip.

I'm a big Reali fan -- although sometime I think he dumbs it down.

Nothing ever happened in the AFL that deserved being mentioned.

    He has to.

It's the way TV is heading...Appeal to the lowest common denominator.

    Meaning?

    1) He does one thing, does it very well and gets his own radio show.

    or

    2) Becomes a compulsive nose-picker.
