Protests grow over Rushdie's knighthood

    Do people have nothing better to do?

    If we went on strike here over someone being knighted, wouldn't we be fired on the spot?

    Does the willingness to drop everything and strike/protest over a relatively trivial honor say more about the culture or the religion?

    Story was advanced today.

    If you read the link I provided, you'd see that there also was a cleric there saying at Friday prayers how Muslims were all kicked in the balls by this crap.
