    Had to wiki that. Canuckistan terr'ist. Died in 1868, else she'd be in Gitmo right now.
    On a serious note, most of your Canadian pop culture references are flying waaaaay over my head. Had never heard of the dog thing, either, until now.

    I think we might have discovered the other thing that binds together Canadians (other than the stereotypical-but-sadly-true hockey) and that's mom and pop television.
    Look at that intro to Littlest Hobo.
    There's one human (Alan Hale, no less) mentioned as being on the program and they prominently kill the myth that it's one dog by touting "Stand in".
    If it weren't for dentists and their need for tax shelters, there would be no Canadian cinema or television.
    God bless 'em, the sadists.
