Proposal for NFL scheduling

I would like a 12-foot cock, but it's not going to happen, nor are any of these scenarios so long as the NFL has a TV contract to worry about.

No way are the networks going to put up with what they might deem as less meaningful games at the front end of the schedule.

 

More often than not, the division titles are settled by the last week and what's being fought over are the wild cards.

So if the Ravens and Broncos are fighting it out for a wild-card spot, would you rather have a schedule that at least allows the possibility for them to play each other in the last week? Or would you rather have a schedule that guarantees that they won't?

Take a lesson from the ACC: If you try and rig something to get a desired outcome, Mr. Murphy will get involved and foil your plans.

 

Coincidentally, the least meaningful games this weekend are all division games: Atlanta @ Tampa Bay, Chicago @ Detroit and San Francisco @ St. Louis.
