Has Taker even used the mike since his biker dude shtick ended?

  2. Um, remember the biker gimmick? And even when he had the Ministry, he cut some promos. Taker has great mic skills, no question about it.

  3. I responded without reading your post. I don't think he has. His character lately has been about mind games, etc. But I think when his career finally starts to wind down, we'll hear him talk more.

Even if all he said for the rest of his career every time he cut a promo was "Rest In Peace," I'd be totally fine with that. Growing up, I always loved to hear Taker say that and then roll his eyes back up in his head.

The promos he cut on Yokozuna during their feud in the 90s were great. I loved it when he was talking about making the casket big enough so Yoko could fit in it.

And I especially loved it when they "killed" off Taker's character and he rose up through the Titantron.

Taker's promos throughout the year have been great, and I wish they'd let him cut more now. Lord knows it'd be better than half the stuff on Raw/SD right now.

Yours too? I hate when that happens.

Sadder still, my immediate action when I see my DVR has Impact stored: Select, erase, confirm.

Good Raw, especially for a New Years Eve edition, which I'm guessing didn't get a very high rating. HHH vs. Flair had a big match feel to it and the ending was unpredictable, although a little disappointing that it wasn't clean. What will this lead to...perhaps HHH/Flair vs. Regal/Vince at the Rumble or a Regal face turn?

I'll be attending Raw at the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut next week, bought a few decent seats today off eBay. Really not a bad seat in the house...place is pretty tiny, or at least felt real small when I went to a SD taping there in August.

Aren't they doing Raw Roulette next week?

    Ugh.

Yes, first time in nearly 5 years. Makes sense I guess since it's from the Casino, but it could be a trainwreck. Hope it's a good show.

The one lasting memory I have from the last Raw Roulette was that it opened the door for the HHH-Kane-Katie Vick storyline.....

Has it seriously been THAT long. I thought Bischoff did it when he was GM...that wasn't 2003, was it?

    I'm old.

Yes, November of 2003 I believe.

Who could forget The Hurricane in his "Capture the Midget" match against Rosey?

Let's just say after a night of shenanigans (chasing the midget around the arena), "Fernando the Midget" finally runs around the ring, jumps on the lap of Jim Ross, and Lillian declares Ross the winner.
