Trib Total Media is seeking a beat reporter to cover the Pittsburgh Penguins at home and on the road.
The successful candidate will join an award-winning sports team as the lead reporter covering one of our organization's top sports beats.
This person will be a skilled wordsmith who can thrive in our fast-paced, competitive, sports-crazed Western Pennsylvania market.
It is essential that this reporter be able to transcend game coverage to produce day-to-day breaking stories as well as insightful analysis and enterprise reporting for the company's daily newspapers and highly successful digital operation.
An interactive, aggressive social media presence aimed building a broad and devoted audience is crucial.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in daily print and online journalism is required.
Trib Total Media is an equal opportunity employer and encourages all qualified candidates to apply.
Interested candidates should send a cover letter, resume and samples of their work to:
    Richard A. Monti at rmonti@tribweb.com.
