Posting for a friend (a former sports journalist with multiple APSE awards to his credit) who is leaving this position for a university PR job:

First Presbyterian Day School, a Christian (Presbyterian Church in America) K-12 school in Macon, Ga., is looking for a director of communications. This position is responsible for supervising the school's visual media coordinator and webmaster/sports information director. There is some teaching involved (one high school and one middle school journalism class), and there is some publication work expected (twice-yearly parent/alumni magazine, annual report, supervision of yearbook production). The position also is responsible for the school's social media presence and is the point person for media inquiries. The school has invested a lot into technology, so there is the chance to do some higher-end creative work.

They posted the opening on J-Jobs, but it's a long one. Here's the link: http://www.journalismjobs.com/Job_Listing.cfm?JobID=1532297
