    Save for finding out a coach is a sheep fucker, I'm not a huge fan of getting rid of a guy when he hasn't been there at least four years.

    Why give the guy a new deal over the summer and whack him now? Or, to put it another way, why whack him when you just gave him a new deal?
    Astounding. I'll be shocked if they get anybody with a semblance of name recognition to take this gig. I hope Prince gets a nice settlement for his trouble.

    I know there were a lot of people who are K-State fans who seriously opposed the contract extension until AFTER he proved himself this season.

    This surprises you?

    This is the same athletic department that agreed to pay an assistant men's basketball coach $400K a year. For purposes of comparison, that's $5K a year less than the entire Texas staff.
