    Sounds like my schedule. :)

  2. I didn't mean that as a "Yea, Hillary!" post.
She just happened to be mentioned first.
I don't give a fuck about the primaries on this one. I just want some leadership and will take it where I can get it.

I do laugh everytime I read "President Stupid." Never fails to crack me up.

One of the best lines in Friends history --

Chandler: "Oh, this must be the episode of Three's Company where there is some sort of misunderstanding."

That's why they made a show about them.

  6. Chris Dodd makes me sorry I won't get to vote for him.

    That's a great speech.

But neither Sen. Dodd, nor anyone else, could make it, without being provided the rich raw material by the 21st-century version of Operation CREEP.

Arlen's going to cross over and vote with the Dems on FISA.

I'll believe it when it's recorded in the official record.

Until then, Arlen Specter is Lucy with the football and the Democrats are Charlie Brown. (I stole that from somewhere.)

This looks to be a rout. Almost all of the middle of the road Dems voted no on cloture.

    Debate continues.

    Did Specter?

Specter went with the Dems. Good on him.

Sens. Mark Pryor (D-AR), Ben Nelson (D-NE), Blanche Lincoln (D-AR) and Mary Landrieu (D-LA) went with the GOP.

Glad to see Johnson and McCaskill on the good side.

    Motion failed 48-45.
