    As for the column, the timing may bother people, but I found nothing wrong with it.

    I read the comments last night after the first column posted, and they were pretty much as you would expected from esteemed commenters on newspaper stories. Just a no-holds barred assault on the columnist for making this about her.

    That column was churlish, tone deaf, narrow-minded, self-congratulatory, simplistic, overly moralizing and based on a viewpoint that conflicts with years of research and best practices in the field (in this case, mental health). If I had to pick a poster most likely to support it in a blind taste test, well, you're the winner.
