Pretty Cool Airline Experience

    There's some parents who've already bought stuff scrambling to take it back now.

    That, and the fact that unless they're also offering to ship that stuff to those people's homes (assuming most of them were traveling for the holiday), it's going to be awful tough/expensive to get that stuff home.

    That's just my cynicism.

    Westjet is a great airline.

    An off work employee when I was checking in at Halifax, noticed I had two bottles of wine in a tote bag. Brain cramp on my part

    Not only did she remind me I couldn't take them on as carry on baggage, she helped me wrap them up in t-shirts and put them in the middle of my soft sided bag, made sure the bag was marked "fragile" and told the luggage people to make sure it was handled carefully. And they did. And the bottles arrived safe and sound.

    Unbelievable service culture.
