Couples picks Lucas Glover and Hunter Mahan. Norman picks Ryo Isihkawa and --- wait for it --- Adam Scott. The Scott pick might be the worst in the history of this event. The guy has been God awful this year. Way to go with your countryman there, Greggie. Horrible, horrible pick.

Ishikawa? From what I've seen, its all hype. There were better available players on the Euro tour.

Scott? That guy shot 85 at the PGA I think.

The President's Cup is right in my backyard and I'm not very enthusiastic about it. Its not the Ryder Cup and in my estimation a weak copy. Then again, some of the big guns will be playing so I may go out there. Great course.

    Where's it at this year?

I'd consider going if it were at RTJ in Manassas, Va. Actually, I thought it was there every year for some dumb reason.

Harding Park, San Francisco, CA. October is a gorgeous time though, Indian Summer. October weather is better than July weather, go figure.

I believe Obama is honorary chairman or some other such nonsense.

    Lowdown on Scott:

He's missed 10 of 18 cuts this season, 10 of his his last 14 events. His only top 25 was a tie for second in January at the Sony Open against a weak field. There's no way Norman can remotely justifiy that pick. During the press conference today, he said Scott was ranked No. 3 in the world a year ago. Yeah, and I had a job a year ago. That doesn't help me now just like Scott ain't gonna help the Presidents Cup team.

Maybe Norman is doing this to help the guy get back on track but that's not his job. If I were an International player, I'd be pissed as hell over this blantantly homer pick. Typical Greg Norman bullshit.

It's the President's Cup. No Euros allowed.

I know but I thought I saw guys like YE Yang (on team) on the Euro tour on Golf Channel who were better than Scott this year. Danny Lee?
